Rohani: Syrian war is failed Zionist-US attempt to overthrow Assad
Syrian state news agency (SANA) reported that incoming Iranian President Hassan Rohani said to Syrian Prime Minister Wael Nader Al-Halqi that "there is no force in the world that would affect the ties between the two countries."
According to the report, Rohani told Al-Halqi, who came to Tehran for Rohani's inauguration ceremony, that "the Syrian civil war is a failed Zionist and American attempt to overthrow the Assad regime." (AFP)
