Polio vaccinations begin, Health Minister in Rahat

The vaccination campaign against polio has gotten underway. It is expected to inoculate 150,000 children up to age of nine from 66 settlements spread out from Kiryat Gat to Mitzpe Ramon.

Health Minister Yael German is at Tipat Halav baby program in Rahat, to examine the progress of the operation. She has called on all residents to vaccinate their children until the age of nine “for their health and for the health of the environment." (Yaron Kelner)
