State agrees to discussion on exportation of natural gas
The State informed the High Court that it is willing to hold a hearing regarding petitions against the decision to approve the export of 40% of natural gas reserves of Israel, as if an order was issued currently preventing implementation of the decision.
The meaning of the State’s message is that the exportation of gas will be delayed until the court makes a decision on the subject. In response to the petitions, it was stated that due to urgency in need of a decision, the State seeks a debate as quickly as possible. (Avital Lahav and Aviel Magnezi)
