Report: Egypt's army thwarts assassination of al-Sisi, ElBaradei
The Kuwaiti paper Alrai has quoted Egyptian security sources as claiming they has discovered three terror cells who intended to assassinate senior officials in the Egyptian government, among them Defense Minister General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and acting vice president of Egypt Mohamed ElBaradei.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported that 12 Palestinians were arrested in Al Arish in Sinai in wake of events in the peninsula that left two Egyptian soldiers dead. (Roi Kais)
