Israel Prize Laureate Prof. Ze'ev Ben-Haim passed away at age 106
Prof. Ze'ev Ben-Haim has passed away Tuesday, he was 106-years-old.
Prof. Ben-Haim was a leading linguist – renowned for his research surrounding the Hebrew and Aramaic langue used by the small Samaritan community still active in Israel – and was the second president of The Academy of the Hebrew Language. He received the Israel Prize for Jewish Studies in 1964. (Shahar Chai)
