Finance Ministry opposes new tax for ABC kits

The Finance Ministry stated it objects to levying a new tax to secure the funding for supplying and distributing ABC kits to the entire population of Israel.

Earlier it was revealed during the Knesset's Comptroller Committee proceedings that the Home Front Ministry and the National Security Council are considering the new tax since about 40% of the population does not have an ABC kit. (Avital Lahav)
