Glen Grunwald, a journalist for the British Guardian newspaper, said he received some 20,000 documents from American NSA whistleblower, Edward Snowden, who leaked details of several top secret US mass surveillance programs to the press.
Grunwald, who first interviewed Snowden and exposed the affair, made the statement before the Brazilian Senate's Foreign Affairs Committee, which asks to examine American surveillance in the country. (AFP)
