Some bacteria found in hospital's water system

Remnants of the Legionella bacteria were found in the water system of the pediatrics and maternal care ward in the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem. Examinations conducted on Tuesday found small concentrations of the virus, but on a level which exceeds safety limits.

About a month ago a 74-year-old man died after he became infected with the bacteria. The hospital stated in response: "In the course of activities to combat the virus, the whole hospital is being treated." (Yaron Kelner)
