Complaint: Arabic ads for polio campaign insufficient
MK Basel Ghattas (Balad) contacted Health Minister Yael German and asked her to increase advertising focused on the Bedouin community in order to increase the rate of Polio vaccination compliance.
According to Ghattas, the existing call center also does not give responses in Arabic and the Arabic Ministry of Health website includes no mention of the vaccination campaign. "It ca be assumed that the lack of appropriate advertising in Arabic is behind the weakness of the response of the residents," wrote Ghattas. (Yaron Kelner)
