UNIFIL investigating border incident which left 4 IDF soldiers injured
The UNIFIL forces in southern Lebanon have announced that they are currently investigating Wednesday morning's incident in which four IDF soldiers were wounded, after being prompted to do so by Lebanon's army.
In a statement issued to the press, UNIFIL said it was informed by the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) that an IDF patrol had crossed the so-called Blue Line separating the two countries. “A UNIFIL investigation team is currently at the location ... to ascertain if any traces of a possible explosion or other activity can be identified on the ground,” (Roi Kais)
