The Turkish national Eidan Damirhan, suspected of killing his Romanian girlfriend Ilona Denise in southern Tel Aviv due to a dispute over rent payments, told police interrogators about the minutes after the murder.
"I smoked two packs, I didn't know what to do," he said. "She attacked me first, I was afraid you wouldn't believe me," he told interrogators, and added: "I cried when I cut her." (Eli Senyor)
