A leading Republican senator is worried Egypt may be heading toward prolonged violence after a contentious meeting with the Arab country's top general.
Sen. John McCain said Gen. Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi is unhappy with some of the suggestions he and fellow Republican Sen. Sen. Lindsey Graham made this week during a visit to Cairo. One focused on releasing some Muslim Brotherhood leaders imprisoned after last month's coup. (AP)
