Friends: British girls attacked with acid because they're Jewish

The friends of two British teenagers who suffered an acid attack in Zanzibar told the Daily Mail that it's possible they were targeted because they were Jewish. Zanzibar is predominantly Muslim and has been the scene of some religious violence in recent years.
The two are expected to return to Britain on Friday. One of them said she had been attacked by a Muslim woman two weeks ago, apparently for singing on the street during Ramadan. (Ynet)
