IDF forces opened fire at a Palestinian man who attempted to cross the Gaza
Strip border fence.
The soldiers fired at the Palestinian,
who was carrying a suspicios object, after he touched the ground at a point where exlosives were laid in the past.

troops arrived at the scene and an investigation of the incident was launched.
According to preliminary details, the soldiers fired a warning shot at the suspect, in an attempt to stop him, as they suspected he was carrying explosives.
The suspect reportedly did not stop, prompting the IDF unit to fire in his direction, resulting in his injury.
After the man was down, the Engineering Corps was called in to the scene to examine whether the suspect was carrying explosive devices.
The Air Force was also called in to the scene.
