Livni: Borders will be determined by negotiations, not EU

Justice Minister Tzipi Livni met with German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle, and said: "A link is made sometimes between the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the EU-Israel ties. The borders will be determined by negotiations and not by the EU. The EU should await the results of the talks."
Westerwelle responded: "We support the direct talks and believe it is an interest of both sides. We will also discuss the ties between Israel and the EU. One-sided moves that harm the negotiations should be prevented." (Attila Somfalvi)
