A source within the Egyptian Interior Ministry told the German news agency that security forces will disperse the Muslim Brotherhood sit-ins in the Rabaa Al-Adawiya Mosque and in the al-Nahda Square in Cairo, starting on early morning Monday. The date was set on Sunday in a meeting between Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim and his aides.
A few days ago the Egyptian Presidential Office stated the diplomatic efforts made by foreign emissaries have failed to bring about a peaceful solution to the Egyptian crisis, and laid the responsibility on the Muslim Brotherhood. (Roi Kais)
