French tourist detained for speeding at 160 kph
A 29-year-old tourist from France was caught driving a rented car at a speed of 160 kph (100 mph). Police Traffic Department detained the man on a road where the speed limit is only 90 kph (56 mph).
Upon detainment it was revealed the vehicle did not have documentation of an annual inspection. The driver was arrested and will be arraigned in an expedited procedure. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
