Egypt: Islamist parties call on mass pro-Morsi protests

The coalition of Islamist parties, which supports ousted President Mohamed Morsi, released a statement Monday afternoon in which they call on mass protests across Egypt to be held Tuesday, titled "Together against Coup and Zionists". The statement read that "in the next few days there will be mass events across Egypt until the objectives of the January 25 revolution will be achieved."
Earlier Monday, security and army forces were supposed to begin evacuating Morsi supporters from main gathering centers in Cairo, yet the evacuation has not yet been carried out. (Roi Kais)
