Report: Salafist Sinai group takes responsibility for Eilat rocket

Palestinian sources reported that the extremist Salafist group Ansar Bayt Al-Maqdis, which operates in the Sinai Peninsula, claimed responsibility for the rocket launched early morning Tuesday at Eilat.

However, these reports were not corroborated and the group has yet to issue a formal statement. Four of the group's members were killed on Friday near Egyptian Rafah in an airstrike attributed to the IDF by foreign media. (Roi Kais)
