Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu contacted his Lebanese counterpart Adnan Mansour and voiced his fear of negative repercussions on the relations between the two countries if the pilots abudcted in Beirut are not released. “I am extremely worried about the abduction and its negative repercussions on the bilateral relations between the two countries,” the National News Agency quoted Davutoglu as saying Tuesday.

He also stressed that “Turkey had nothing to do with the kidnapping of Lebanese Shiites in Aazaz, which was executed by Syrians in Syria.” Mansour condemned abductions taking place on Lebanese land. (AFP)
