Hezbollah affiliated Lebanese network Al Mayadeen has reported that ousted Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi has vowed to begin a hunger strike if protests in his support are dispersed.
Morsi claimed that he is the only person capable to end the protests, and stressed: "I will not disperse the protests, except under certain conditions. I will begin a hunger strike if the demonstrations in Cairo's al-Nahda Square and around Rabaa al-Adawiya mosque will be dispersed." (Roi Kais)
