Kerry says US views settlements as 'illegitimate'

While the peace talks between Israel and Palestine continue, US Secretary of State John Kerry reiterated that the US views all settlements as illegitimate. During a visit to Brasil he added that he has had "Very frank, direct, and open" talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Kerry stressed that Palestinian President Abu Mazen is committed to continue peace talks with Israel. (Reuters)
