UN chief: Israel, Palestinian should negotiate with 'patience'
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon urged both Israel and the Palestinians to be "patient" during the renewed negotiations taking place these days. The Jordanian news agency Petra reported that Ban made the remarks after meeting with Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh.
Ban noted the UN support and encouraged the continuation of talks. The UN Secretary General will meet with President Shimon Peres on Friday. (AFP)
