Egypt: 3,000 Muslim Brotherhood followers protest in Cairo

About 3,000 Muslim Brotherhood supporters protested in the al-Iman Mosque in Cairo, where the bodies of victims of clashes in the Rabaa al-Adawiya Mosque were taken to. Protestors set stones, barricades and trash cans in the area to prevent security forces from advancing. Protestors have chanted slogans against the government, the interior minister and the defense minister and vowed to continue the struggle to reinstate Morsi as president.

 

Meanwhile, the Egyptian media reported Chief of Staff Abd Fattah al-Sisi instructed the Rabaa al-Adawiya Mosque and all the government buildings harmed in the protests be renovated. (Roi Kais)
