Supreme Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood, Muhammad Badie, has said to Brotherhood supporters that "The people, who protest peacefully despite the savageness of the military coup enforces, will keep resisting until the coup fades."
Badie added that the protests in Egypt are proof of the resistance to military rule, and said that "The false power given to the army is reflected in cruel slaughters in the Rabaa al-Adawiyeh mosque and in al-Nahda square." (Roi Kais)
