Syrian rebels say not responsible for Lebanon blast

Loay al-Mikdad, a spokesman for the Free Syrian Army, said Friday in an interview to the an-Nahar newspaper that accusing the Syrian rebels of the deadly Beirut blast is "absurd".
Al-Mikdad said he does not rule out that a video of the bombing was taken in a Syrian intel post and stressed that the bombing was "a cowardly act, meant to disrupt the security, stability and safety of the Lebanese people." (Roi Kais)
