Man who defrauded celebrities remanded in custody
A man who is suspected of defrauding celebrities has been remanded in custody for four additional days.
The man, who was extradited to Israel from the Philippines, is said to have stolen thousands of dollars from his Israeli peers, including actor Zion Baruch and media personality Ron Kaufman. The defendant's attorney, Ronen Rosenblum, said his client committed no criminal offense, and that he has reached a settlement with several of his creditors. (Eli Senyor)
