Cairo: Soldiers enter mosque where thousands are barricaded

The private Egyptian ONTV Live television channel showed Egyptian soldiers entering a mosque in Cairo where thousands of Muslim protestors have barricaded themselves early Saturday morning.
According to the footage, it seems the soldiers entered the mosque without using violence and they appeared to be negotiating with the protesters, attempting to persuade them to leave. Police have besieged the mosque for hours before. (AFP)
