Al Qaradawi: Egypt committed massacre greater than Israel
The Sunni world’s leading cleric, Sheikh Yusuf Al Qaradawi, affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, said Friday night that the Egypt security forces have committed a massacre that even Israel did not commit. Al Qaradawi made the statements regarding Wednesday’s events, adding that while Israel had tried to help some of the injured, Cairo security forces prevented the aid from being administered.
He also demanded that soldiers disobey orders and avoid killing. The Qatar-based Sunni cleric urged the international community to stop the Egyptian army, and called on citizens of Egypt to join protests. (Roi Kais)
