Stray Syrian mortar lands in Golan
A Syrian mortar shell landed in an open area in the center of the Golan Heights. No damage or injuries were reported. The IDF reported that it mortar landing was apparently random spillover from the fighting in Syria. Saturday morning, another mortar fell near the border, and has not yet been located on the Syrian or Israeli side of the border fence.
The Northern Command said that a report on the incident was sent to the United Nations force in the area. (Yoav Zitun and Naor Buchnik)
