Syrian President Bashar Assad said on Sunday he was determined to "eradicate terrorism" fueling the conflict in the country since March 2011, news agency Sana reported.
"Syria has welcomed all constructive and sincere efforts to try to find a political solution to the crisis," Assad said. (AFP)
