Report: 38 detainees killed in Egyptian jail choked to death by gas

Security sources told the Egyptian al-Ahram newspaper that 38 Muslim Brotherhood men detained in a prison facility were killed when they choked to death by tear gas fired toward them after they tried to break out.
According to the report, the detainees held a warden hostage. Security forces rescued him, though he sustained serious injuries. (Roi Kais)
