Egyptian army declares state of alert in Sinai

An Egyptian security official was quoted on Al-Ahram news website as saying that army and security forces declared a state of emergency and high alert in northern Sinai. The international road, where 25 policemen were executed, was blocked to traffic. According to the source, "the criminal event, which goes against all humanitarian principles, will not be unanswered."
The source further added that the "armed godlessness organizations" are those responsible for the murder of the policemen. (Roi Kais)
