Oleh from US suspected of smuggling 82 commando knives

A new oleh from the United States, residing in the northern city of Ma'alot-Tarshiha, is suspected of attempting to smuggle 82 commando knives of various types to Israel. The knives were found in a container in Haifa by customs.
The suspect, 55, claimed in his interrogation that he ordered different items and was shipped the knives by mistake. Apart from the knives, 33 alcohol bottles and two antique pianos that were not declared were found. (Ahiya Raved)
