Evidence of the polio virus has been found in a sewage treatment plant in Baqa al-Gharbiyye in central Israel, the northernmost the virus has been found so far.
Some 48,000 children were vaccinated on Tuesday across Israel. So far 182,000 children under age nine were vaccinated. (Yaron Kelner)
