MKs fined for not following primary funding procedures

State Comptroller retired Judge Joseph Shapira fined Knesset members who were candidates for their parties primary elections and did not follow funding practices. Among others, Economy Minister Naftali Bennett was fined NIS 65,000, for not reporting that he had hired a private investigator.
In addition, fines were issued to Ministers Amir Peretz and Danny Danon, and MKs Ayelet Shaked, Gila Gamliel and Tamar Zandberg. (Yaron Druckman)
