A military judge has sentenced US soldier Bradley Manning Wednesday to 35 years in prison for giving military and diplomatic secrets to the website WikiLeaks. Manning could have been sentenced to up to 90 years in prison, but prosecution bid for 60 years.
The judge is said to have taken under consideration Manning's confession and his remorse for his acts in sentencing. (Yitzhak Benhorin - Washington)
