Egypt official: Mubarak will not be discharged home due to health status

A security official in Egypt was quoted on the website of the "Al ahram" paper in the matter of the pending release of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. The official stated that Mubarak's health is extremely poor, and he will therefore be discharged to further care outside his home.
The interim Egyptian President, Adly Mansour, instructed the release of Mubarak into house arrest. Mansour said that this instruction was in accordance to emergency law and following security considerations. (Roi Kais)
