Peres: We must raise teachers' wages, create smaller classes

President Shimon Peres made comments about Israel's education system on Thursday and said it could only improve by reducing the number of students per class and considerably raising teachers' wages.
He further noted, "We recently discovered reservoirs of gas. This needs to be invested in science and education. If we don't sow today, we'll have nothing to reap tomorrow." (Itay Blumenthal)
