Egyptian opposition group: Mubarak's acquittal – tyranny's victory

Egyptian opposition group April 6, which participated in the January 25 revolution which saw the ouster of former President Hosni Mubarak, called on the country's citizens to protest the latter's expected release.
The group called for a non-violent demonstration outside the Cairo court to show opposition to the release. "Mubarak's acquittal is a victory for tyranny and him leaving jail is a victory for the police officers who tortured and murdered Egypt's citizens," a statement by the group said. (Roi Kais)
