Lebanese officials estimated that the launching of rockets at the Galilee was done to harm the interests of Hezbollah. Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar reported that it was estimated that the rocket shootings were motivated by the same factors behind the car bomb explosion in the Hezbollah stronghold in the south of Beirut about two months ago.
