Fouad Siniora, head of the al-Mustaqbal movement which opposes Hezbollah and the Syrian regime, referred to the bombings in Tripoli and called on Hezbollah to cease its backing of Assad and concentrate on Lebanon.
"The only solution is for the organization to withdraw from its involvement in Syria. It has no interest to remain there," Siniora said. The Tripoli blasts killed at least 42 people, injuring about 500. (Roi Kais)
