Syrian opposition: Russia, China take UNSC hostage
The Syrian opposition denied the Assad regime's reports regarding their use of chemical weapons. At a press conference held by the Syrian National Coalition, leader Ahmad Jarba said: "We firmly reject the Assad regime's false information and see it as a desperate attempt to divert attention from the ongoing crimes against the Syrian people."
Jarba fiercely criticized Russia and China for "taking the UN Security Council hostage." Moscow and Beijing prevented an official investigation of the UNSC in Syria. (AFP)
