3 synagogues broken into; 18-year-old arrested in connection

Three synagogues, two in Bat Yam and a third in Or Yehuda, were broken into and vandalized Saturday night.
In one of the incidents, holy scriptures were thrown on the ground and damage was caused to equipment. In Or Yehuda, a number of beer bottles left over from an event held at the synagogues were also stolen. An 18-year-old was chased down by police and arrested in connection to the break-ins. Police are currently questioning him. (Gilad Morag)
