French FM meets Peres; urges action against Syria

French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius met with President Shimon Peres on Sunday. Fabius addressed the situation in Syria and said that the use of chemical weapons warrants a tough response from the international community.
Peres said in response that the world cannot remain indifferent to the murder of children and that time has come to launch an international effort to remove chemical weapons from Syria. "I understand the American president for taking all options under consideration. It's not easy," Peres said. (Attila Somfalvi)
