Lapid asks French FM to act towards changing EU boycott

Finance Minister Yair Lapid met with French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius and told him he is concerned about the European Union's decision to boycott settlements. Lapid said the decision may harm the negotiations, and asked Fabius to work towards changing, or at least freezing, the decision.
Lapid, who spoke with Fabius in his office regarding recent events in the Middle East, commented that "what is happening in Syria is a tragedy that must be stopped." (Moran Azulay)
