Herzog announces candidacy for Labor chairman, State leadership

After officially announcing his candidacy for Labor party chairmanship, Knesset Member Isaac Herzog said: "I do not intend on running for the role of opposition chairman, but for the leadership of the entire State."
At a press conference, MKs Eitan Cabel and Erel Margalit announced their support of Herzog's candidacy against acting chairwoman Shelly Yachimovich. The party's primaries will be held on November 21, and the three, who were supposed to run separately, decided to join forces. (Moran Azulay)
