MK Shai announces support for Yachimovich as party head

Knesset Member Nachman Shai announced he will support acting Labor Chairwoman Shelly Yachimovich in the upcoming elections for the party's chairmanship: "In light of my familiarity with her and in light of her functioning, I have reached the conclusion that it would be right to allow Shelly to once again lead the party."
Meanwhile, Yachimovich congratulated MK Isaac Herzog for announcing his running of the party's leadership, and said he is a worthy opponent. (Moran Azulay)
