Report: British warplanes spotted in Cyprus
Eyewitnesses told The Guardian that military transporters and fighters have begun arriving at Britain's Akrotiri airbase in Cyprus, which is located less than 160km (100 miles) from Syria.
According to the Guardian's report commercial pilots who frequently fly the route said they had begun seeing transport aircraft from their cockpit as well as spotting small warplane formations on their radars. A local resident said that during the last two days heightened activities has been registered around the base. (Ynet)
