Sakhnin mercury accident: 34 students evacuated to hospital

Thirty four students from the high school in Sakhnin were evacuated to Rambam Medical Center after being exposed to mercury in an accident at the school’s labs. Preliminary examination showed that students do not suffer mercury poisoning.
The Environmental Protection Agency recommended that students return to the school only after the area is treated and the area is proven to have no residue of mercury. (Ahiya Raved)
